A Few Principles....

...a few housekeeping points I would like to set for the blog right from the start.

1. Nothing Personal: This blog, while inspired by my personal journey with Science-centric Spirituality, is not intended to be just about me. However, obviously, I am writing from my perspective: having been raised Christian, in the American Northeast, from 1969 to the present. No, I am not ignoring or implying anything just because I don't include specific references to Judaism or Islam, I just don't have direct experience with those Inherited Faiths. It is my sincere hope anyone will get something out of this blog and the eBook series.

2. Intent - Enable the Discussion, Not Be the Discussion: Some of the points made in this blog will offend, some will inspire, some will build up old ideas, some will build new perspectives....hopefully all posts and discussions on this blog will bring helpful and generative change to the UnChurched, the Churched, and Science-centric populations alike. It's about the ideas not about the author.

3. Absolutists Should Accept They Do Not Belong Here: Clearly, given the exodus of people away from Inherited Religion & Inherited Church something with the old ways will need to change. Those incapable of flexibility, respect, and diplomacy are asked to bug off. I have seen negativity condemn other blogs into uselessness so I am being upfront about this point now. Please refer to the Comment Policy.

5. Comments Welcome: both complimentary and critical, but rants and over-the-top-hostility will be deleted. Please refer to the Comment Policy.

OK....those housekeeping points laid out,  I feel like I can move on to a bit about my personal story of being a person whose Spirituality he describes as "Science-centric".
